Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nana Au Serpent by Niki de Saint Phalle was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 94,208.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niki de Saint Phalle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 961,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nana Au Serpent von Niki de Saint Phalle kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 81.900,00 (€ 94.208,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niki de Saint Phalle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 961.500,00.
