This artwork by Oskar Schlemmer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, auction, the work Baumstudie (Tree Study) sold for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,763.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oskar Schlemmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tischgesellschaft (Group At Table) in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 2,595,000.00 (€ 3,027,157.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oskar Schlemmer erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, wurde die Arbeit Baumstudie (Tree Study) für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.763,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oskar Schlemmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tischgesellschaft (Group At Table) im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.595.000,00 (€ 3.027.157,92).
