Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Famille Pignatelli; Famille Aldo Brandini; Famille Barberini, Rome by Patrick Faigenbaum for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,370.06). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Lewis Kaplan at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Patrick Faigenbaum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Famille Caracciolo di Melissano, Naples, 1991 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Famille Pignatelli; Famille Aldo Brandini; Famille Barberini, Rome von Patrick Faigenbaum für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.370,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Lewis Kaplan bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Faigenbaum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Famille Caracciolo di Melissano, Naples, 1991 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.875,00.
