The work Friends Apart by Patrick Hayman was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,729.52), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Hayman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fisherman, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,527.45).

Die Arbeit Friends Apart von Patrick Hayman kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.729,52) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Hayman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fisherman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.527,45) versteigert wurde.
