Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Questions on a Winter Day; and Big Lady with Admiring Dwarf by Patrick Hayman was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,585.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Hayman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Fisherman in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,527.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Questions on a Winter Day; and Big Lady with Admiring Dwarf von Patrick Hayman kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.585,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Hayman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Fisherman im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.527,45).
