Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Morte by Paul Cézanne was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 8,131,000.00 (€ 6,833,921.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Cézanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Montagne Sainte-Victoire in November last year with an auction result of USD 137,790,000.00 (€ 133,478,639.93).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.131.000,00 (€ 6.833.921,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00 angegeben worden.
