Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Phenomena Pyramid Prism by Paul Jenkins. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Jenkins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phenomena Arroyo Sounding in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 81,790.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Phenomena Pyramid Prism von Paul Jenkins zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.700,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Jenkins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phenomena Arroyo Sounding im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 81.790,99).
