Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Paysage Et Têtes De Femmes by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The price achieved of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 176,637.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet in May last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 22,770,478.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Et Têtes De Femmes von Pierre-Auguste Renoir zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 176.637,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Auguste Renoir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.435.000,00 (€ 22.770.478,05).
