This artwork by Pol Bury achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in February this year. In the Prints & Multiples Online auction, the work 19 rectangles et 18 disques superposés - 1979 sold for EUR 459.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pol Bury achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fontaine - 1988 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 219,800.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pol Bury erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online wurde die Arbeit 19 rectangles et 18 disques superposés - 1979 für EUR 459,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pol Bury erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fontaine - 1988 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 219.800,00.
