This artwork by Raoul Dufy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May last year. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale auction, the work Nature morte à l'artichaut sold for USD 44,100.00 (€ 41,095.89) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raoul Dufy erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Nature morte à l'artichaut für USD 44.100,00 (€ 41.095,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
