Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,756.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Doisneau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 35,139.09).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.756,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Doisneau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 35.139,09).
