A top price for Rudolf Bauer - as previously expected
The work Squares by Rudolf Bauer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Squares is the most expensive artwork by Rudolf Bauer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Squares von Rudolf Bauer kam im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 850.000,00 (€ 773.148,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Squares das teuerste Kunstwerk von Rudolf Bauer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
