Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Teaset by Rupert Spira for GBP 813.00 (€ 943.62). This price was achieved in the auction Made in Britain at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rupert Spira have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Large Open Bowl in October last year with an auction result of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,110.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Teaset von Rupert Spira für GBP 813,00 (€ 943,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rupert Spira auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Large Open Bowl im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.110,08).
