Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sanyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in June 2021. In the Post War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Nu Aux Jambes Croisées sold for EUR 45,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Nudes in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 303,985,000.00 (€ 35,256,632.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sanyu erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Nu Aux Jambes Croisées für EUR 45.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Nudes im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 303.985.000,00 (€ 35.256.632,18).
