Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Marron vert jaune”, 1948 by Serge Poliakoff for DKK 450,000.00 (€ 60,368.83). This price was achieved in the auction CoBrA at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 500,000.00 – 600,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Marron vert jaune”, 1948 von Serge Poliakoff für DKK 450.000,00 (€ 60.368,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 500.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
