In September 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work (diamond 10) by Shio Kusaka. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,413.84), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Shio Kusaka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work (Line 65) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14).

Im September 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit (diamond 10) von Shio Kusaka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.413,84) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shio Kusaka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit (Line 65) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14).
