Upper estimate price exceeded by 33 %.
This work without title by Shusaku Arakawa was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 40,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shusaku Arakawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vertical Thought, which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 156,776.91).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shusaku Arakawa kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 40.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Shusaku Arakawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vertical Thought beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 137.500,00 (€ 156.776,91) versteigert wurde.
