Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lost, 2011 by Slinkachu was sold in the Made in Britain / Online auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,396.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Slinkachu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Branded, which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,368.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lost, 2011 von Slinkachu wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Made in Britain / Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.396,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Slinkachu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Branded beobachtet, die im April 2014 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.368,47) versteigert wurde.
