It achieved a price of GBP 8,255.00 (€ 9,604.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Admittedly, works by Terry O'Neill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brigitte Bardot, Spain in May this year with an auction result of GBP 48,260.00 (€ 56,150.83).

Die Arbeit The Rolling Stones von Terry O'Neill kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.255,00 (€ 9.604,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terry O'Neill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Spain im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.260,00 (€ 56.150,83).
