The work Rooftop Refugee by Tetsuya Ishida was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 4,685,000.00 (€ 513,304.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tetsuya Ishida; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Men On A Belt Conveyor sold at auction in July last year with the realized price of HKD 8,064,000.00 (€ 1,006,221.53).

Die Arbeit Rooftop Refugee von Tetsuya Ishida kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 4.685.000,00 (€ 513.304,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tetsuya Ishida; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Men On A Belt Conveyor im Juli letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 8.064.000,00 (€ 1.006.221,53).
