Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale, which included the work Resin Sex style by Tim Lokiec. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,848.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tim Lokiec have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spiked Driftwood with Colorwave in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,581.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Resin Sex style von Tim Lokiec zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.848,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tim Lokiec auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spiked Driftwood with Colorwave im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.581,95).
