The work Bassin Des Tuileries by Antoine-Guillaume Minartz was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,431.96), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine-Guillaume Minartz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fête foraine, which sold at auction in October 2002 for USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,025.40).

Die Arbeit Bassin Des Tuileries von Antoine-Guillaume Minartz wurde im Juli 2006 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.431,96) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine-Guillaume Minartz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fête foraine beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für USD 28.680,00 (€ 29.025,40) versteigert wurde.
