Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait De Madame Berta Singerman by Foujita was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 12,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait De Madame Berta Singerman von Foujita wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
