Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Vente du jour, which included the work Selbstportrait (série des Chasseurs de trésors) by Urs Lüthi. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Urs Lüthi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,529.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selbstportrait (série des Chasseurs de trésors) von Urs Lüthi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Urs Lüthi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.529,62).
