The »bidding war« ended at HKD 300,000.00 (€ 36,557.01), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Zecchin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna E Quattro Evangelisti, 1922 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 681,000.00.

Die Arbeit Twelve-armed chandelier von Vittorio Zecchin wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Evening Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 36.557,01) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Zecchin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Madonna E Quattro Evangelisti, 1922 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 681.000,00.
