Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled - Sketch by Wobbe Alkema was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. The price achieved of NLG 18,723.20 (€ 8,771.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wobbe Alkema have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work En Passant in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 84,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled - Sketch von Wobbe Alkema wurde im November 2000 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 18.723,20 (€ 8.771,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wobbe Alkema auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit En Passant im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.000,00.
