Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sleeping Series - Artist Guo Jin's Portrait by Xin Haizhou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,986.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xin Haizhou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rule of the Game No. 2 in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 775,000.00 (€ 89,575.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sleeping Series - Artist Guo Jin's Portrait von Xin Haizhou kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.986,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xin Haizhou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rule of the Game No. 2 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 775.000,00 (€ 89.575,66).
