Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Changing Youth by Xin Haizhou was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2009. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,392.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xin Haizhou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rule of the Game No. 2 in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 775,000.00 (€ 89,575.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Changing Youth von Xin Haizhou wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 16.392,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xin Haizhou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rule of the Game No. 2 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 775.000,00 (€ 89.575,66).
