The work Dots Infinity by Yayoi Kusama was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,050.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yayoi Kusama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pumpkin in April this year with an auction result of HKD 30,000,000.00 (€ 30,635,869.57).

Die Arbeit Dots Infinity von Yayoi Kusama kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.050,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yayoi Kusama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pumpkin im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.000.000,00 (€ 30.635.869,57).
