The work Table d'Or by Yves Klein was sold in the Art contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in December last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 27,720.00 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Table d'Or von Yves Klein wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Art contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 27.720,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
