Œuvre originale 1962 - Édition multiple posthume 1973; cette œuvre porte le numéro sept d'une édition de cent-soixante-quinze exemplaires, vingt-cinq épreuves d'artiste en résine et vingt-cinq Hors Commerce de la Galerie Karl Flinker ainsi que trois exemplaires en résine réalisés spécialement pour l'Opéra Bastille à Paris et trois dernières avec une identification spécifique.

This artwork by Yves Klein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December this year. In the Art contemporain auction, the work Victoire de Samothrace sold for EUR 220,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 84 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yves Klein erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art contemporain wurde die Arbeit Victoire de Samothrace für EUR 220.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
