Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Thousand Years Embroidery No.8 by Zheng Guogu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2020. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,065.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zheng Guogu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waterfall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Thousand Years Embroidery No.8 von Zheng Guogu kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.065,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Guogu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waterfall im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 58.337,11).
