This artwork by Achille Laugé achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May last year. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale auction, the work Vue des quais de la Garonne sold for USD 52,920.00 (€ 49,315.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Laugé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La route in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 809,000.00 (€ 948,068.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Achille Laugé erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper and Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Vue des quais de la Garonne für USD 52.920,00 (€ 49.315,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Achille Laugé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La route im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 809.000,00 (€ 948.068,14).
