The work Basement Feelings by Adrian Ghenie was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 119,700.00 (€ 132,916.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Ghenie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pie Fight Interior 12 in May last year with an auction result of HKD 81,060,000.00 (€ 9,623,561.64).

Die Arbeit Basement Feelings von Adrian Ghenie kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 119.700,00 (€ 132.916,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrian Ghenie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pie Fight Interior 12 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.060.000,00 (€ 9.623.561,64).
