Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Torso Femminile by Alberto Viani. The price achieved of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,521.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alberto Viani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forma Feminile in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 55,200.00 (€ 40,259.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torso Femminile von Alberto Viani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.521,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Viani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forma Feminile im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.200,00 (€ 40.259,65).
