The work Senza titolo by Cy Twombly was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,190.00 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cy Twombly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (New York City) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 70,530,000.00 (€ 66,777,125.54).

Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Cy Twombly wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.190,00 und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cy Twombly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (New York City) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 70.530.000,00 (€ 66.777.125,54).
