Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait by André Lhote was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,606.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Lhote achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La danse au bar (Gypsy Bar) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,729,000.00 (€ 1,857,979.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait von André Lhote kam im Februar 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.606,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.500,00 – 4.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Lhote erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La danse au bar (Gypsy Bar) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.729.000,00 (€ 1.857.979,30).
