The »bidding war« ended at SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,390.74), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anton Corbijn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 44,100.00.

Die Arbeit "Isabella Rossellini, New York 1993" von Anton Corbijn wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.390,74) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Corbijn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.100,00.
