Upper estimate price exceeded by 82 %.
This artwork by Ayako Rokkaku achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. In the Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART auction, the work without title sold for HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 114,860.65) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ayako Rokkaku achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Girl with Animals in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ayako Rokkaku erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 114.860,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ayako Rokkaku erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Girl with Animals im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
