Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2017 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary, which included the work "Untitled" by Bjarne Melgaard. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 370,000.00 (€ 37,935.21). Admittedly, works by Bjarne Melgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" in May 2013 with an auction result of SEK 2,500,000.00 (€ 290,652.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Untitled" von Bjarne Melgaard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 370.000,00 (€ 37.935,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bjarne Melgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.500.000,00 (€ 290.652,91).
