This artwork by Camille Pissarro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Paysanne accroupie sold for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,324.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Camille Pissarro erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Paysanne accroupie für GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.324,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
