Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Season by Chu Teh-Chun was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,871.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 18,000.00 – 26,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Season von Chu Teh-Chun wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.871,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 18.000,00 – 26.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
