Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Andreas Holztisch und Hosentrager Durlanger see by Collier Schorr was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,067.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Collier Schorr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Collage (Marie) in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Andreas Holztisch und Hosentrager Durlanger see von Collier Schorr kam im Juli 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.067,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Collier Schorr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In The Collage (Marie) im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16).
