Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Arrangement #15 (Herrhausen) by Collier Schorr for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,622.53). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Collier Schorr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In The Collage (Marie), which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Arrangement #15 (Herrhausen) von Collier Schorr für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.622,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Collier Schorr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In The Collage (Marie) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16) versteigert wurde.
