Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Library of Dust 1470 by David Maisel. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,094.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by David Maisel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April last year the work Terminal Mirage 261-12 was auctioned for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,978.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Library of Dust 1470 von David Maisel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.094,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von David Maisel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April letzten Jahres die Arbeit Terminal Mirage 261-12 für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.978,93) versteigert.
