Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Fall (Borox 9), 2013 by David Maisel was sold in the The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints auction at Christies in New York in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,088.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by David Maisel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April last year the work Terminal Mirage 261-12 was auctioned for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,978.93).

Die Arbeit The Fall (Borox 9), 2013 von David Maisel wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.088,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
