This artwork by David Schnell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2017. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Hütte sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,563.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Schnell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kollision In der Baumschule, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 216,000.00 (€ 162,883.64).

In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Hütte für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.563,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Schnell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kollision In der Baumschule beobachtet, die im November 2006 für USD 216.000,00 (€ 162.883,64) versteigert wurde.
