Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Avenue Du Dr. Durand, Arcueil by Diego Rivera was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 375,000.00 (€ 331,184.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rivals in November last year with an auction result of USD 14,130,000.00 (€ 13,687,881.43).

Die Arbeit L'Avenue Du Dr. Durand, Arcueil von Diego Rivera kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 331.184,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Diego Rivera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Rivals im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.130.000,00 (€ 13.687.881,43).
