Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2021 Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2020/2021 - Contemporary Editions Online Only, which included the work „Decrease the Mass and Run Like Hell“. by Doug Aitken. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 437.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Doug Aitken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work West in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 250,460.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - Contemporary Editions Online Only durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Decrease the Mass and Run Like Hell“. von Doug Aitken zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 437,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Doug Aitken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit West im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 250.460,26).
