Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Chessboard, 2015 by Dustin Yellin for USD 4,500.00 (€ 3,652.60). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in Online and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dustin Yellin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy) in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 124,598.27).
